Intern – Microbiology Laboratory | Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Joliette

H2Lab is currently seeking an intern for the microbiology laboratory for the Summer 2026 session at its Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and Joliette branch. Reporting to the Microbiology Laboratory Director, the selected candidate will assist with sample preparation, application of procedures, and data entry. 

Role Definition

Supports the analytical and technical activities of the laboratory by assisting the team and operations. Participates in sample and material preparation, performs analyses according to established procedures, and enters data. Contributes to maintaining quality and safety standards. 

Main Responsibilities 

• Prepare solutions, culture media, and reagents 

• Apply various standardized microbiology techniques 

• Perform required quality control for each method and procedure 

• Enter analysis results into the LIMS software 

• Receive samples and prepare sterile materials 

• Perform any other related tasks as required 

Minimum Education 

• Student enrolled in a college or university program related to microbiology or a related field
