Head of Operations – Laboratories and Logistics 

Strategic Executive Position | Multi-site (Quebec and Ontario) 

H2Lab is currently seeking an experienced operations leader with a strong background in managing operations within a technical, scientific, or regulated environment. The successful candidate will serve as Head of Operations – Laboratories and Logistics, overseeing the performance of multi-site operations. 

Role Definition 

Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of laboratories (chemistry and microbiology) as well as logistics and sample reception activities. You will play a key role in standardizing practices, optimizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement focused on results. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Ensure operational and financial performance across all H2Lab sites (timelines, capacity, quality, efficiency) – Quebec and Ontario 

• Harmonize and standardize processes across laboratories 

• Optimize logistical and operational workflows 

• Lead and engage managers and multi-site teams toward achieving corporate objectives 

• Establish and monitor performance indicators (KPIs) 

• Contribute to budget preparation and ensure compliance 

• Implement corrective actions to meet established goals 

• Collaborate closely with Quality, Customer Service, and Finance teams 

Education and Experience 

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field 

• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in operations management, ideally in a technical, scientific, or regulated environment 

• Proven experience in multi-site management and continuous improvement

Position Details
